Table Talk: Natasha Zoë Rohan
A podcast recommendation, lessons from mom (Mother's Day edition)
by Natasha Zoë Rohan, founder at Roam Studio

Sweet friend and founder at Roam Studio, Natasha Rohan, shares a few favorite pieces of advice from her mom and a podcast that’s brought her comfort during pregnancy. She recently completed a birth doula training—an experience that deepened her understanding of support through life’s many transitions. “Doing it while pregnant made the experience all the more meaningful.”

(LISTEN) The Birth Hour hosted by Bryn Huntpalmer
I’ve been finding a lot of comfort in podcasts lately—especially listening to other women’s birth stories. One I’ve been loving is The Birth Hour. The stories on this show run the gamut, and each one is treated with so much respect and dignity. It gives every woman the space to reclaim her story, which feels incredibly cathartic—especially since birth can so often feel like it’s beyond one’s control (or so I’ve heard).

LESSONS FROM MOM
She has greatly shifted my view of aging. At 60, she prioritizes adventure, pleasure and self discovery. It is so inspiring to see how full of life she is and it feels like she is just getting started.
She led by example—navigating life as a primarily single mother. As I begin my own journey into motherhood, I have a newfound respect for all the roles she held—and the grace and selflessness with which she carried them.
She leans into her eccentricity without fear of how it will be perceived by others. Her confidence is infectious.
